DriStud RU22 Roof Underlay
DriStud RU22 is a 145 gsm, grey faced, self-support, synthetic roof underlay. It is micro porous, water resistant film that is laminated to two layers of non-woven spunbonded polyolefin. DriStud RU22 is non-fire retardant. DriStud RU22 can be used to line roofs, walls and ceilings.
DriStud RU22 is intended for use on buildings designed in accordance with NZS 3604:2011 paragraph 1.1 and in wind zones up to and including ‘Extra High’. DriStud RU22 is designed to be used as a replacement for self-supporting kraft paper roof underlay. It can be installed over both timber and steel framing to ensure a dry roof cavity. DriStud RU22 can be used under masonry tiles, metal tiles and profiled metal roof claddings. However, DriStud RU22 must not span more than 1.2 m between adjacent supports.
DriStud RU24 Roof Underlay
DriStud RU24 is non-fire retardant self-supporting black faced synthetic roofing underlay.
It is a tri-laminate consisting of engineered synthetic materials and it is water resistant and vapour permeable. DriStud RU24 must not be installed where fire retardant roof underlay is specified.
It is intended for use on new and existing buildings in wind zones up to and including ‘Extra High’, as defined in NZS 3604:2011.
DriStud FRU36 Roof Underlay
DriStud FRU36 is white synthetic tri-laminate roofing underlays that are water resistant, vapour permeable and fire retardant. The FRU36 is a self support roof underlay however FRU36 can be used for both self support and heavy weight applications. It is intended for use on new and existing buildings in wind zones up to and including ‘Extra High’, as defined in NZS 3604:2011.
DriStud FRU36 is a lighter grammage self-support roof underlay, whereas DriStud FRU38 is heavier grammage self-support roof underlay.
DriStud FRU38 Roof Underlay
DriStud FRU38 is a white synthetic tri-laminate roofing underlay that is water resistant, vapour permeable and fire retardant. The FRU38 is a self-supporting, roof underlay. It is intended for use on new and existing buildings in wind zones up to and including ‘Extra High’, as defined in NZS 3604:2011.
DriStud FRU38 is a Heavier grammage self-support roof underlay, whereas DriStud FRU36 is a lighter grammage self-support roof underlay.
DriStud W11 White Faced Foil
DriStud W11 is a Fire Retardant, fully synthetic, vapour, water barrier and a light diffuser insulation product. It is used for interior lining for commercial and industrial buildings, sports stadiums and warehousing facilities where extra clean white finish is required.
We recommend using Safety Mesh or Hexagonal Netting to support DriStud W11.
